Sept. 29: On Friday, John McCain scoffed at Barack Obama for saying he would take action against al-Qaida within Pakistan if that country is unable or willing to do so itself. Sarah Palin’s answer to that scenario, however, agrees with Obama. The Nation’s Chris Hayes analyzes the conflict in the views of Palin and McCain and how it affects their ticket.

Sept. 29: During Friday night’s debate, after John McCain talked about the bracelet he received from the mother of a dead solider in Iraq, Barack Obama pointed out that he also wears a bracelet to remember a fallen soldier and told his story. The McCain campaign then spent the weekend claiming Obama told the story of the soldier against his family’s wishes. Keith Olbermann explains why the McCain campaign blew it again.

Sept. 29: Sasha Baron Cohen, posing as his Austrian fashionista character “Bruno,” crashed the runway at last week’s Agatha Ruiz del la Prada show. After some confusion, the lights went out and “Bruno” was apprehended. This will presumably be used in Cohen’s upcoming “Bruno” movie.
